Casting Notice
Blackboard Plays is partnering with Parent Artist Advocacy League (PAAL) to promote a platform for Black Playwrights who tell stories about Black Families. Black Motherhood & Parenting New Play Festival is in the process of accepting playwright submissions. Play finalists will be selected and will virtually premiere in the Fall of 2022. We are seeking performers for this upcoming BMPFest season.
Submission Instructions/Deadline:

Location: Rehearsals and capture will be virtual.

5-13: Show #1 Rehearsal (off on the 11th)
14-17: Show #1 Capture
19-27: Show #2 Rehearsal (off on the 25th)
28-31: Show #2 Capture
AUGUST
9-17: Show #3 Rehearsal (off on the 15th)
18-21: Show #3 Capture
23-31: Show #4 Rehearsal (off on the 29th)
SEPTEMBER
1-4: Show #4 Capture
OCTOBER
20-24: Stream Show #1
24: Show #1 Talkback
27-31: Stream Show #2

NOVEMBER
3-7: Stream Show #3

Compensation: Actors will receive a $200 stipend
BMP Fest supports the full spectrum of identities for performing artists. Actors of all ethnicities, physical abilities, sizes, ages and gender identities, as well as performers with disabilities, are encouraged to apply.
